It’s been a long time coming but the point-and-click adventure game from developer Mografi called Jenny LeClue - Detectivu is finally making its way to Steam after spending years in development.

The developers opened up the Steam page recently, informing gamers about the kind of gameplay and content they can expect from the upcoming title, as well as some images of the concepts and gameplay, and a couple of trailers to help catch gamers up on what the title is about.

Players take on the role of young detective Jenny LeClue, who ends up having to uncover the truth behind a conspiracy to have her mother framed for murder. Players will have to track down clues, interview suspects and find out the truth behind the shadowy evils lurking in the dark corners of the town of Arthurton. There’s a trailer you can check out below to get an idea of what the developers are going for with the game.

I remember covering this game as far back as 2014 when the developers were running the Kickstarter campaign for the game. The title managed to bring in more than $100,000 from more than 3,900 backers over on the crowdfunding platform, and they’ve been consistently updating the game on the Kickstarter página, with the latest news being that they’re still prepping to release Jenny LeClue en la PlayStation 4.

The Steam page, meanwhile, reveals that the game is now scheduled to launch at some point in 2017. They don’t have a specific date yet, but they do mention that it’s “Coming Soon”.

One of the key gameplay elements is that you can practically interact with tons of different environmental objects, with the developers encouraging players to prod, poke and pry into as many different areas and items as possible.
