Caliber 10 Racing abandonado por desarrolladores mientras aún está en acceso anticipado

Bongfish’s combat racer, Carreras calibre 10, entered into Early Access way back in March of 2014, three years ago. The developers last issued an alpha update back in Mayo de 2014. Since then the combat racer has been left to rot.

Gamers on the forums asked questions over the years, and the forum moderator even took time to pin some comments to the top of the forum page, but the last post from the developer was in the fall of 2014, when they responded to a post about adding split-screen to the PC version.

Gamers didn’t take the opportunity lying down. Many on the forums are warning people to get refunds or not to give money to Bongfish since they haven’t updated the game in years, despite the fact that the game is available for only $1.99 on the tienda de Steam.

Según la SteamDB the game was last updated two years ago back on May 17th, 2016. The update was supposed to be for a November build update due out in the fall, but there’s no indication that it ever released, and given the silence from the developers it doesn’t appear it will at this rate.

One of the team members of Bongfish, Michael Putz, from Steiermark, Austria, is still fairly active on Steam, even putting in time with games such as Campos de batalla de PlayerUnknown y la muy controvertida Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus.

I attempted to reach out to the Bongfish team on Twitter to ask about Carreras calibre 10 and its development status, but as of the writing of this article there hasn’t been a response.

The lack of a response is not due to the developers being inactive. They’ve been quite active, with their last post on Twitter back a month ago on October 3rd.

They’ve been attending events and promoting other games, but so far gamers who invested into the Early Access of Carreras calibre 10 have been left out in the cold.

Gamers are now using the review section to warn gamers away, letting them know that Bongfish hasn’t updated the game since 2014 and haven’t responded to any inquiries about the game since late 2014. In fact one of the developers on the game haven’t been active on Steam since noviembre de 2014.

Now this isn’t to say that all Early Access games are bad, or that majority are bad. In fact, a good deal of the Early Access games we report on eventually graduate. In fact, over the past year and a half we’ve reported on more than 40 games having graduated from Early Access and released in full on Steam.

However, there are some games, like Carreras calibre 10, that end up in Early Access limbo. Don’t be surprised if it ends up getting purged from Valve’s storefront due to the neglect from Bongfish.
