El Cantante de balada is a twining maze of different outcomes, putting your choices front and center during any journey. The role-playing adventure game is set in a fantasy world brought to life through visual story-telling.

On the topic of story-telling, the devs have taken elements from game-books and visual novels to develop The Ballad Singer with an unprecedented format.

The asymmetric RPG offers a fantasy story yet to be written, where the world changes and reacts to your actions. The devs claim that you will be able to live up to 1,700 stories and witness over 40 different endings.

Moreover, every single development and subplot in the story is completely narrated and illustrated, even down to the smallest ones.

Things worth noting is, the game is fully narrated with over 400,000 words and 40 hours of narration. More than 700 HD illustrations are in the game, and happen to be accompanied by more than 40 musical tracks.

The game also sports 400 different “detailed deaths,” where death plays a part in the overall story, meaning there’s no “Game Over” screen. When a character you’re assuming dies, you will play as a new hero within the same story just in a different narrative path.
